A 25-foot camper in Galax is a total loss after it was completely burned out during a fire.

On Tuesday the Galax Fire Department said they were dispatched to Carico Street for a fire alone with Fries Fire and Rescue.

GFD said crews made "quick work" of the fire in just 20 minutes, and they were completely gone within 45 minutes.

"Stay safe!" GFD said.
