EVANSVILLE Ind. (WEVV) — On December 10th around 8 am, Firefighters Responded to a Fiery Semi-Truck Accident at Hwy. 41 & Virginia St. Upon receiving reports of a blazing collision involving a semi-truck, responders rushed to the scene.
Initial assessments revealed both vehicles were engulfed in flames, demanding an urgent and escalated intervention.
When crews arrived at the intersection, emergency teams encountered a significant fuel spill, intensifying the situation. Quick action prevented the fire from reaching the semi's fuel tank, as crews worked to extinguish the flames.
To manage the spill, the EFD hazmat team was dispatched. No injuries have been reported
