Lincoln Fire Company says the blaze broke out early Sunday morning at around 8:20 a.m. at the Ephrata Church of the Brethren.
When police and fire teams arrived, they say they were met with a vehicle fire that was dangerously close to other cars.
Authorities say they were able to have the surrounding vehicles moved out of the way while firefighters worked on the flames shooting out of the car.
Luckily, crews say the church was not evacuated and that no one was injured in the incident.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
