Crews responded to the 2100 block of Citico Avenue in Chattanooga at about 12:30 a.m.
CFD says the house's plastic siding melted off due to heat exposure.
Everyone in the house was deemed safe, and no injuries were reported.
CFD says there was no fire inside the house.
The car fire was finally put out at about 12:45 a.m., and the vehicle is considered a total loss.
A scorch burn was found on the passenger seat of a nearby vehicle.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
