AUSTIN, Texas — A dump truck caught on fire on the northbound I-35 frontage road near Wells Branch Parkway Friday morning, causing traffic delays.
The Austin Transportation Department said the incident is blocking several lanes.

The fire was caused by a gas tank explosion, according to the Austin Police Department.
Drivers are asked to expect delays and seek alternate routes, if possible.
This is the second significant vehicle fire in the last 24 hours, the other being an 18-wheeler on Rutland Drive Thursday morning.
