ANN ARBOR, MI – A car burst into flames in Ann Arbor on Wednesday – and someone was there to catch it on video.
Crews were called to North Ingalls Street north of Huron Street on Dec. 6 at 3:58 p.m. for the care fire.
A video that the Ann Arbor Fire Department shared on its Facebook page shows a small white car being devoured by flames.
A firefighter is seen rolling out a hose when, at the 18 second mark, the fire flares up and catches more of the car on fire.
Two firefighters with a hose eventually douse the fire.
The fire was caused by a mechanical failure in the engine compartment, according to the Ann Arbor Fire Department.
There were no injuries.
