A semi-truck caught fire which has caused a detour in place on Interstate 80 on Tuesday.

Emergency personnel responded to the incident between Exit 83: Antiques Country Drive and Exit 76: County Road N54 which is four miles east of Adair. Westbound traffic is currently experiencing a travel delay of a few minutes. With the dry conditions and windy weather, the Stuart, Casey, Anita and Greenfield Fire Departments have all been called to the scene. At this time the fire is extinguished, and personnel are waiting on a clean up crew.
